Jun 10, 2012: RailTrail Bike 'N Hike Norfolk and Brant Counties

The Alzheimer Society in partnership with Norfolk County, Brant County, and Norfolk Pathways for People, Waterford Heritage Trail Committee, Port Dover Lions, Simcoe Lions and the Waterford Legion is planning a new fundraising venture called the Bike & Hike.  The event will be held on Sunday, June 10th and scheduled from 10 till 3pm and will have 5 entrance locations or filling stations along the Rail Trails.

·       Port Dover    Silver Lake ·       Simcoe    Lions Park ·       Waterford   Black Bridge and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 123 ·       Scotland   Entrance beside Willow Lake Camp Ground ·       Mt. Pleasant    Optimist Club Ball Park.  Participants can purchase a bracelet at any of the locations and they can then fill up with a beverage, snack and hotdog at any of the filling stations.  Bracelets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under . Jun 18, 2012: Yvonne Alexander Memorial Golf Tournament

Presented by the Hamilton Halton Alzheimer Foundation, and hosted by David Hearn, a PGA Tour professional golfer, this tournament takes place at the Copetown Woods Golf Club.  Registration is now open (download the registration form). Jun 30, 2012: Memory Ride

On June 30th, 2012, Greg Frankovich will begin his Memory Ride event - a bike ride from Hamilton, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia!  The Memory Ride is to support the Alzheimer Society Research Program and to encourage support of the programs and services offered by local Alzheimer Societies across Canada.
